KEVIN GOT A KIDNEY!

As many people have seen or heard recently, Kevin Kessinger got the call of a lifetime last week! On Friday, he was notified that a kidney was available for his much needed transplant. Some who know him know that he's been dealing with polycystic kidney disease for 10 years and has been going to dialysis multiple times a week, as well as having extended hospital stays last year. A few months ago, Kevin was placed on the kidney transplant list, had his nonfunctional kidneys removed, then the indefinite wait of finding a kidney match continued. Luckily, he didn't have to wait too long.
We all know how expensive it is to seek any kind of medical treatment and proper healthcare, with or without insurance. Additionally, Kevin has not physically been able to work while undergoing treatments and because of prolonged hospital visits. He's got a tough recovery ahead and is still in the hospital so far today. I know he and his amazing, sweet partner, Ally, would be so grateful if we could help them focus on Kevin's recovery without the burden of the medical bills they've already faced, the cost of the transplant, and the medications he will need forever to ensure his body doesn't reject his miraculous new kidney.
Kevin has been a friend to many and supported so many local businesses, venues, bands, etc. over the years. I thought the community could now rally for Kevin and contribute in any way that we are able. No contribution is too small!
