Soy María Auxiliadora y necesito de tu ayuda.

Hola ,soy María Auxiliadora Rodríguez de Bracho, tengo 44 años y me definen como trabajadora incansable, madre de tres princesas: María Rosa(22), María Fernanda (20), María Valentina (17) ; y de un príncipe: Hildomar Jesús(11). Ayúdenme a continuar a su lado para verlos crecer y guiarlos en su camino.

Historia Clínica.

Precisamente la historia de mi enfermedad comenzó al día siguiente de celebrar el cumpleaños número 11 de mi hijo menor.

Ante todo aclararles, que no tengo antecedentes medicos de importancia a excepción de Asma Bronquial en la infancia.

Ese día a las 6 am,me levanté sorpresivamente con un intenso dolor de cabeza, me molestaba la luz y se irradiaba a mi cuello, después de varias consultas donde me indicaron solo analgésicos , decido consultar con un neurocirujano, el cuál inmediatamente solicito una TAC ( tomografía axial computarizada) allí observo una dilatación ventricular, edema cerebral y lo que pudiera ser una imagen compatible con sangre en mi cerebro.

Fui ingresada al Servicio de Medicina Interna del HUAVG, con el diagnóstico : Hemorragia Subaracnoidea: aneurisma cerebral, instaraurandose el tratamiento adecuado para estos casos, medicamentos anticonvulsivos y antiespamos para evitar convulsiones y sangrados posteriores.

El día miércoles el Neurocirujano, solicita una RMN( Resonancia Magnética Nuclear) para establecer diagnóstico definitivo, pronóstico y tratamiento, lamentablemente la conclusión fue que poseo una malformación arterial compleja, que compromete el circuito arterial anterior (arteria carótida interna) bilateral ( 2 aneurismas) que ameritan tratamiento Endo vascular.

Este tratamiento no lo realizan en ningún centro público de país y solo lo hacen escasos especialistas, además de ser de alto costo( Anexo informe y presupuesto).

Soy una mujer de Fé y confío plenamente en la nobleza del hombre, es por ello que a pesar del temor que sentimos mi familia y yo,nos sentimos optimistas.

Todos los días el amor que recibo de mis hijos , esposo y demás familiares me recuerdan que no estoy sola y que después de esta tormenta podremos dar testimonio del poder de Dios, Pero necesito de tu mano amiga, tu colaboración por más pequeña que sea será un aporte invaluable en el camino de mi recuperación, al igual que difundir este mensaje, ayúdenme a compartir este link entre familiares y amigos y sobretodo unamonos en oración constante para mi total recuperación .

Clinical history

The story of my illness started the day after celebrating my youngest son's 11th birthday.

First of all, let me say that I don't have any significant medical history except that I suffered from Bronchial Asthma as a child.

That day, at 6 a.m., I woke up suddenly with an intense headache that extended to my neck and the light bothered me. After several doctor's appointments, where I was only prescribed painkillers, I decided to see a neurosurgeon, who immediately sent me to get a CT scan, which showed a ventricular dilation, cerebral edema and what could be an image compatible with blood in my brain.

I was admitted to the Servicio de Medicina Interna at the HUAVG with the following diagnosis: Subarachnoid haemorrhage, cerebral aneurysm and received the usual treatment of anticonvulsant and antispam medications to avoid seizures and subsequent bleeding.

On Wednesday, the doctor ordered a NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) to get a definitive diagnosis, prognosis and treatment and unfortunately, his conclusion is that I have a complex arterial malformation which compromises the anterior arterial circuit (internal carotid artery) bilaterally (2 aneurysms) and that requires Endovascular treatment.

This treatment is not provided in any public medical center in the country and there are only a handful of doctors who perform it. Not only that, it is extremely expensive (see the attached report and fees).

I'm a woman of faith and I trust completely in the goodness of humankind, which is why in spite of the fear we feel, my family and I remain optimistic.

The love I receive every day from my children, my husband and the rest of my family remind me that I'm not alone and that, after this storm, we'll able to bear witness to the power of God.
