Eli and His Family

Hi, my name is Codey Gould and I'm starting this go fund me for my brother and his family. Four years ago, Eli went to a theme park and went on a waterslide. The waterslide wasn't maintained properly and had metal sticking up, which caused a wound on his toe. It then became infected causing him to lose his toe. The infection kept coming back causing him to lose all his toes on his one foot. Going through all the surgeries and infections made it hard for Eli to work, but that didn't stop him from still going to make a living for his family. Work was hard on his body, but he knew he needed to work in order to make ends meet. For a while, things were looking up. He and his wife decided it was time to get healthy.

They got healthy and started trying for a baby. His wife Amanda is now pregnant and due in June. Just when everything started looking up for them, Eli's infection had spread to his back. He had to have emergency surgery to try and rid the infection from his back and to hopefully avoid the infection from spreading further. This has all led to Eli being unable to work and he is now permanently disabled.

Eli is and always has been a hard-working man who provided for his family. This matter is so important to me because Eli would do anything for anybody, and I believe his family needs help to get through this four-year battle that they’re still fighting. The funds would be used to support their family including their 10-year-old son and soon to be baby boy. They have a home and bills and could really use the help to keep them afloat.
