Hi, my names is Rita and I'm fundraising for my good friends sweet, energetic hound dog Bow who had a heartbreaking accident while running in the backyard—he stepped into a deep hole and fractured both his ulna and radius. He’s only 2 years old and full of life, but now he’s facing a long and uncertain road to recovery.
So far, the vet bills have started to add up quickly:
- $1,400 this week for initial treatment, x-rays, sedation, and splinting
- $600 expected next week
- $400 every two weeks for ongoing care
Unfortunately, even with all of this, there’s no guarantee of a full recovery without surgery—which is estimated to cost around **$10,000**.
Bow’s mom, Kelsy, is a loving single mother of two young kids. She’s doing everything she can to keep Bow comfortable and give him the best shot at healing, but this unexpected financial burden is overwhelming.
If you’re able to donate—even a little—it would make a huge difference. Every dollar helps Bow get closer to the happy, pain-free life he deserves. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for sharing Bow’s story.
