On Tuesday February 3rd,  Dario Pilamala experienced a devastating loss when the apartment building he was living in burned down. Thankfully he is okay - as were most of the residents of the building. Sadly, there was one fatality. 


As a result, Dario lost all of his personal belongings. For those of you who do not know Dario, he works in Summer Camp as both the nurse and a counselor, fills in for Robin whenever needed and has accompanied Upper School overnight trips in a medical support capacity, did long-term subbing in Middle School Spanish classes when Allison was on medical leave, and has been a regular, reliable substitute teacher throughout the SFC for the last several years. 


As a community, we would like to support him in whatever way possible. For now, Dario has temporary living arrangements. He does, however, need funds to replace all of his clothes and rent and furnishings for his next home.
