Friends, our amazing cafeteria manager, Debra Parks, needs our help. Debra is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, and generous individuals I have ever known. Her compassion for others is evident everyday, in her kind words and actions toward the staff and students at our school. She is extremely humble and would never ask for assistance, but she needs our help.
Debra’s Story:
At the beginning of October, Debra was not feeling well. She thought she had really bad allergies that had turned into a chest cold. Debra went to an urgent care facility on October 9th. They immediately sent her to the hospital,l and she was admitted. Debra spent three days in the hospital. The doctors ran some tests and found a large mass in her lungs. After several tests and a biopsy, Debra’s worst fears were confirmed; she has Small Cell Lung Cancer.
The doctors still are running tests and trying to determine the best course of treatment to help Debra, but the Pet scans, MRI, and many, many doctor appointments are already taking a financial toll on her.
Please consider helping us raise funds to assist Debra with all these unplanned expenses. No gift is too small. Please rally with us to get Debra the care she needs. Most of all please pray for her.
Thank you!
