Dear Friends and Family…Prayers are heavily needed.  My husband, Tyler Smith, suffered a seizure while at work on Monday.  After several MRI’s and CAT scans, we were given the news that Tyler has a brain tumor on the left side of his brain.  UCSD and Kaiser’s neurosurgeons are suspecting it is Glioblastoma but can not confirm until a biopsy is done. He will be having surgery on Sunday morning to remove the tumor and will begin chemo and radiation soon after.  We are praying for strength, protection, healing, peace, comfort, and a successful operation. This week has been beyond a nightmare and we are trying to digest this reality while immensely remaining positive and strong with optimistic thoughts and prayers. Tyler is surrounded by his family, friends, and loved ones.  He is building himself up with strength, courage, and positive thoughts as he prepares to fight the biggest battle of his life.  He is such a great man and father and he is my whole world.  The boys and I love him dearly and request that you keep him in your prayers. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and my family with your words of encouragement, uplifting prayers, love, support, and kindness.  I am so incredibly thankful for the arms that have wrapped around us so far.  Please continue to keep those prayers coming!
