On June 19th, an unexpected event happened. My 91-year-old grandmother's house caught fire. While my grandmother was able to make it out alive (due to the smoke alarms waking her from her sleep) her house was not that lucky. My grandmother worked hard to purchase and pay-off her home. She has owned this home for over 60 years. It is the house where her five children were raised and it is the home where her grands and great-grands often found comfort. Due to a fixed budget, she did not have home insurance. She needs help to restore the home she dearly loves. She is currently seeking assistance for clean-up and repair. Any amount will help.
