Hi, My name is Je'La Walton. I am a sophomore at North Lawndale College Prep. I am the number one student in my class of 2016 and have been since my freshman year. So far, I have maintained the G.P.A. of a 4.7 and consider myself an active member of my school. Recently, I have been accepted into the Harvard University Summer School Program. In this program, I will be studying at Harvard for 7 weeks and getting up to 8 college credits. The tuition for this program is $11,000. I applied for two grants, and unfortunately, neither of them came through. The deadline was May 19, and there is a late registration fee of $200. This means that I am still able to register but my time is limited.
