During my attendance at Christ Episcopal School in Arden, North Carolina. I was sexually and physically abused by teachers, upperclassmen as well classmates. William Crutchfield was a math teacher at the school for many years. His entire motive was to lure unsuspecting boys into his trust and then abuse them sexually, on and off campus. I noticed over many years, that he approached numerous students and tried to be their friends only to abuse that trust, and do inappropriate things such as touching and suggestive comments. He would focus on the freshmen class students (8th graders) 13-year-old boys! Crutchfield committed suicide by carbon monoxide in his car on the Christ School Campus years after he left the school. He died in 1988. I spoke with his wife and she indicated to me he committed suicide. I told her, that might know why he killed himself. When I told her he sexually assaulted me, she said that made sense. She and her son had a conversation about this matter and she thought he was gay or bi-sexual. I replied, that he was a predator. Conversation ended.

A student from Asheville School read my story and contacted the editor of the paper. He later contacted me and said that Crutchfield tried to molest him, also, Crutchfield was under investigation for abusing his own children. The schools has 5 pending lawsuits at Asheville School, located in Asheville, North Carolina. The trial is pending. He also taught in a North Georiga Boarding School as well as many other summer camps programs and other summer programs for children. How many kids did he abuse? I am sure they carry the same weight as I have.

Four of my classmates participated in a hazing prank and lit me on fire. Two of the boys stood by and watched without any assistance for help. The other two boys were behind me which set me on fire. I feel this action was premeditated, as the 5th student got as far away from the group as he could. I feel he wanted nothing to do with it.

I made a police report with Buncombe County Sheriff's Department. The investigator left messages for all four students but one called back. He said, quote "I don't remember that incident" unquote, the other three of the students never returned the sheriff's calls. My question is, why didn't the sheriff refer the claim to local law enforcement? I believe the school and the county government have a special relationship. We call this relationship " Good Old Boy Network".

The Reporter for "Asheville Times" called all 4 students, but only 1 called back, this time he was more decisive and said it never happened, she indicated that he was not a nice man. What does that tell you? What kind of person does that to another human being? I hope that an honorable person: Attorney, State Representative., or State Senator finds this injustice unacceptable and champions my cause to find justice.

I have lost faith in most people and I'm the happiest when I care for animals, I've had 22 dogs over the years and 90 percent were rescued. I dream of a tract of land in a small remote town in northwest or Alaska, where I can have some sort of peace taking care of farm animals as well as dogs.

I have my personal attorney who will set up a trust, his name is Robert Mangum [phone redacted]. After I pass away, the money can go back to people who supported me or continue to another group or person. After all, we can't take it with us. I hope this becomes a reality for me. We can only see what the future holds!!!!!
