This site is to help TRUTH Apparel raise funds for Operation SafeHouse. Our goal with Operation SafeHouse is to secure a building space within the route system of the KC Metro Bus System, to house students in compromising housing situations, mentor them in how to acquire and retain employment, and become mentors out of mentees. You see, several students have come to us, usually with abusive backgrounds and have nowhere to go, and when dorms close they really have nowhere to go. The common factors are these: nowhere to go, no one to help, and no financial solutions. Hearing that, we added a service component to TRUTH Apparel, and that is to use funds to buy rooms at Extended-Stay Hotels and rent room with people willing to volunteer space in their homes. This was only a temporary fix to a larger issue, due to limited funds, so we launched Operation SafeHouse. To accomplish this, we are raising $15,000 to put a down payment on a building, instead of renting it. We appreciate anyone who believes in the vision we have to help our youth by giving them hope in a sometimes indifferent society.
