Team 9039J - JINX worked tirelessly to win a spot in the 2025 VEX Robotics High School World Championships. Jinx is one of three HS teams representing the DelMarVa region. Team 9039J achieved that goal by winning the Excellence Award at the DelMarVa Regional Championship event. Teams are only eligible for this award by demonstrating superior skills at the highest levels of competition. The VEX Excellence Award is considered the highest award that a team can achieve in any VEX Robotics competition, recognizing overall excellence in both on field robot performance (qualification matches, robot skills challenges, and autonomous coding skills challenge matches) and excellence in judged criteria (including judged engineering notebook, and team interviews).
Team 9039J has put in countless hours and hard work this season to compete at the highest level of Vex High School competitive robotics. Out of 20,000+ registered teams representing 50+ countries, less than 2% qualify for the World Championship and get a chance to represent their region, state, and country.
The VEX World Championship is being held in Dallas, TX in early May 2025. In addition to getting the team to the 3 day event, there is the significant cost of transportation, lodging, getting their robot, and gear to Texas, on time and intact.
