Sanctuary Medical and Food Fund for PAWS Adoption By BEE

Right now, 78 rescued cats depend on me for survival. Many were abused, abandoned, or left behind when their owners passed away. Some were dumped and never reclaimed. Others live with disabilities and medical conditions that made them unwanted. I refused to let them be discarded, so I turned my home into a sanctuary to give them safety, care, and a second chance.

My name is Bee and I run PAWS Adoption By BEE, an independent rescue dedicated to saving cats who have nowhere else to go.

The cats currently in my care came from heartbreaking situations.

Some were abused.

Some were dumped and abandoned.

Some were left behind when their owners passed away, and their families wanted them euthanised.

Some were left with me by people who promised to return but never did.

Some live with disabilities and lifelong medical conditions that made them unwanted.

Instead of turning them away, I stepped in to give them safety and a future.

To support them, I turned my own home into a sanctuary. With permission from my realtor, I transformed the space so the cats could have safe areas to live, recover, and feel secure. I even took out personal loans to build and create the environment needed to care for them properly.

It has become a sanctuary like no other. A place built purely so these animals could survive and eventually find loving homes.

But maintaining a rescue of this size comes with enormous ongoing costs.

Food alone costs around $5,000 every month, and that also includes the colony cats I continue to care for outside of the home. Making sure no cat goes hungry is a responsibility I take seriously, but it is also one of the largest financial pressures of running this rescue.

To help keep the rescue running and ensure these cats continue receiving proper care, I am raising $15,000.

Without support, many of these cats would have been euthanised, abandoned, or left to suffer.

Because of this rescue:

Cats receive life saving medical care.

Disabled and injured cats are given safety and dignity.

Kittens are saved from a life on the streets.

Friendly cats get the chance to find loving homes.

I fund the majority of this rescue myself while also working, but caring for 90 cats is far beyond what one person can sustain financially alone.
