Help Ellen & Her Kids Find Stability
90 days into her sobriety journey, my dear friend Ellen has shown incredible courage and strength. She’s working hard to build a new life, but right now she’s facing a difficult season. Ellen recently lost her job, and as a single mother of two beautiful children (ages 6 and 9), the weight of providing for them has become overwhelming.
We’re currently exploring options for safe housing, even shelters, but our prayer is to avoid that step if possible. What Ellen and her kids need most right now is a cushion, a bit of breathing room to get back on her feet, secure stable housing, and continue her path of recovery with dignity.
This GoFundMe is about giving Ellen a chance. A chance to stay strong in her sobriety. A chance to keep her kids safe and cared for. A chance to rebuild with hope and faith.
We prayed about this, and Ellen felt led to humble herself and ask for help. We trust that God, through divine guidance and the kindness of others, can make a way. Every little bit makes a difference, and your generosity will go directly toward housing, food, and essentials for Ellen and her children.
We’ve been doing everything we can to support Ellen. I was able to put her and the kids up in a hotel for a couple of days to give them some safety and stability, but it’s not enough to carry them through. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.
If you feel moved, please give what you can or share this campaign so it reaches others who may be able to help. Thank you for standing with Ellen in this moment of need.
