Hallo Ihr Lieben! Ich bin Clara, 9 Jahre alt, eine begeisterte Schachspielerin und leider seit meinem 2. Lebensjahr auf den Rollstuhl angewiesen. Ich hatte einen Tumor in der Wirbelsäule, der mir entfernt werden musste, dies hatte eine Querschnittlähmung zur Folge, durch die ich seither nicht mehr laufen kann. Es folgten viele Jahre der Therapie, in denen ich hart für jeden kleinen Erfolg kämpfte und es noch immer jeden Tag tue. Während andere Kinder ihre Zeit auf dem Spielplatz verbringen, ist es für mich normal, täglich zur Therapie zu gehen. Meine Mama hat nun eine Klinik in Pforzheim gefunden, in der ich die letzten 3 Monate verbringen durfte und sehr große Fortschritte erreicht habe. Leider ist die Therapie dort sehr teuer, da die Reha nicht durch die Krankenkasse unterstützt wird. Doch weitere Aufenthalte sind nötig, um mein Ziel zu erreichen. Jede noch so kleine Spende hilft! Hello everybody,
My name is Clara. I am 9 years old and I am an enthusiastic chess player. Unfortunately I am dependent on a wheelchair since I was 2 years old. I had a tumor in my spine that had to be removed. This resulted in paraplegia and since then I cannot walk anymore. This was followed by many years of therapy, in which I fought hard for every little success and I am still doing it every day. While other children spend their time on the playground, I go to the therapy every day. Now my mom has found a clinic in Pforzheim, where I had spent the last three months and in which I have made great progress. The therapy there is very expensive and unfortunately this rehabilitation is not supported by the health insurance. But more stays there are definitely needed to reach my big aim. Every little donation will be of great help!
