Two days before Christmas, while Scott and the boys were out, Tania stopped home from errands to find that their home was on fire. She was able to get their dog and cat out safely, but sadly the boys’ frog and lizards did not survive. Most belongings were damaged or destroyed. The house sustained major damage from fire, smoke, and water and will need to be completely gutted. For those who may not know, this is the house where Scott grew up. Tania and Scott spent 10 months lovingly renovating and moved in in 2016.


Although the house was insured, there will be many costs not covered. Scott and Tania both work for non-profit organizations and will be presented with financial challenges in the coming months. As friends and family, we want to help Tania and Scott and the boys through this overwhelmingly stressful time. Funds collected will be used to cover expenses to help them through this ordeal.
