Dear Friends,

As you may know, on September 25th 2024, Tom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to the liver. At 44 years old and receiving this diagnosis, our lives were flipped upside down. We have been fortunate to start our journey here in Houston at MD Anderson. Since October, Tom has received chemotherapy treatments every 2 weeks, however we are not seeing the progress we had hoped for. We are moving to Stage 1 trails and are hopeful he will be accepted into a trial and treated soon. As we wait, we are exploring alternative treatments beyond traditional U.S. medicine, investigating progressive medical treatments, as well as holistic methods.

Since October, we have felt nothing but love and support from everyone around us. We are so lucky to have the best of people in our ‘village'. There have been many who have sent such generous and thoughtful gifts and more precious than anything prayers, we are so grateful.

We never imagined we'd be in a position to ask for financial assistance, but as we navigate this incredibly difficult journey, we find ourselves facing unexpected challenges. With only one income and medical bills continuing to pile up, it's become overwhelming.

The emotional and physical toll of Tom’s diagnosis is already immense, and we’re doing everything we can to explore all treatment options and give him the best chance possible. However, the financial burden is becoming a lot to bare.
