Our team is really excited to begin working on this project, but we need some help to ensure that this project can reach it's full potential.
The film, entitled ‘Hope You Feel Better’, is a project that relies heavily on the emotive experience, as it is a look at personal and emotive growth over a period of time, following the main character's struggle to fight for what is right. This is my most personal short film to date, and because of that it’s one that I need to do right. We follow a young Christina Ramos who takes her former friend and manager to court to make him pay for his wrong doings.
-Where Will the Donations Go?-
This is where I am asking for help: if we are able to raise the funds we can ensure we are able to take our time to capture all the beauty of the film, at a professional standard.
So many great things have fallen into place for us to be where we’re at. A team of really amazing people are working away to make this happen! However, shooting our short film will require money. Most of it goes towards the expensive camera and lighting equipment, art department and, most importantly, feeding the crew. We are prioritizing our funds toward accommodating the people that make projects like this possible, while balancing the funds to bring you a passion project
FUNDING WILL GO TOWARDS:
- Location (permits, insurance, transportation)
-Film Festival Fees
- Camera Equipment
- Art (props, wardrobe, hair/make up)
- Camera and G&E (lens, rigs, dollies, lighting kits, etc.)
- Marketing (ads, website, social media, cast photoshoots)
- Post-Production (editing, film festivals, colorist, key art/poster)
- Crew Salary (the more crew, the better!)
COVID?
The funds will also be allocated to PPE, hand sanitizer, production insurance to keep the environment onset safe, healthy, and happy during these difficult times!
