Support for Tiny Tunes

Donation protected
As you may have heard, Tiny Tunes, a well loved local business, has had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close their doors due to low enrollment caused by the pandemic. During the spring lockdown, Tiny Tunes was there for everyone with free daily streaming music classes. Now we would love to come together as a community and be there for them!

We know many small businesses are struggling in this pandemic but Tiny Tunes is something special. Special to us, special to all our children, and to the community. We know we are far from alone when stating that Tiny Tunes has always been a magical place for our families. A place we entered with our children and watched them sing, dance, play, and grow their minds in such a natural and joyous way. A place where your children’s eyes always light up to see “what’s in the box,” to shake their instruments, and pop the most perfect magical bubbles. And a place where new confidence and courage are discovered when they step onto the big stage to sing a solo for the first time.

We ask that if you are able, please consider contributing to this place that has brought us all so much joy over the years. Julie, Lexi, Liza, and Henry have become like family to so many in this community. We hope that with the help of these donations, children can continue to enjoy being a part of this wonderful Tiny Tunes family once this pandemic is over. However, these funds are given not expecting anything in return, but just to help show our support and gratitude for what Tiny Tunes has given us, and to be used by Julie however she chooses.

We could share for hours what Tiny Tunes means to our families, but the wonderful thing about Tiny Tunes is what it means to each of us, because each child and experience is so unique, as the class allows, and only asks for kids to be themselves! The one constant is that it is truly more than a class but an amazing, encouraging, inclusive, and fun-filled experience each week. We are forever grateful for all that our families have gotten from Tiny Tunes and know so many feel the same. Let’s come together as a community and support them the way they have always supported us.

If you wish, we also invite you to contribute your personal stories about your time at Tiny Tunes in the comments, as we have done below, to tell the staff just how much they mean to us all.

Thank you,

Alyson Segool and Katie Alexander

Personally my family has been Tiny Tunes members for 8 years now, since my oldest was 6 months old and I truly struggle to even put into words what Tiny Tunes has meant to us because it’s just something you feel when you enter those doors, you just feel the love, smiles, joy and the music! Tiny Tunes truly is a family and you become a part of it the first day you go. They know every child’s name and make sure each child feels like the most special child in the world. It comes from the deep love for children and music that the staff has. Tiny Tunes has been a constant in our lives from the amazing baby/toddler classes where my children’s minds and hearts grew and friendships were built to the immense pride and joy when your child eventually moves on to a stars class, learns a song and takes the stage and sings it. My children have gained so much being part of the Tiny Tunes family, from music and motor skills as infants to singing and confidence as they grew to toddlers and preschoolers and beyond. My daughter is in first grade and a proud Star Trooper.  --  Alyson Segool

We have been a part of the Tiny Tunes family since we moved to Andover 6 years ago. My oldest signed up for a Superstars class when she was 3 years old and is now loving being one of the big kids as an All-Star. Tiny Tunes has done so much for her over the years. The staff always showed understanding and compassion when she was having a tough day. And of course grew her confidence, encouraging her to sing “loud and proud” up on the stage. My youngest was the queen of peekaboo in the infant class and then grew to love the spotlight in her Stars classes. The energy and enthusiasm the teachers have is incredible, not to mention their ability to remember 300+ kids’ names. Over the years, Tiny Tunes became like our second home and the staff great friends to us and our children. --  Katie Alexander
