My sweet niece, Josie, is a 3.5 year old girl full of spunk. She loves playing outside, swimming, animals, doing arts and crafts, and learning! Anyone who knows her knows she has a spirit that lights up the room.

This week, we found out the devastating news that Josie was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has already begun a challenging treatment plan at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital that involves intensive chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and an extensive stay at the hospital. There will be long-lasting treatment beyond the initial phase. Josie is showing incredible strength and bravery, but the journey ahead is long.

My sister and Josie's mom, Jen Pocrnich, and her family are staying by Josie’s side every step of the way. While we are so grateful for the medical team, the financial strain is immediate and overwhelming.
