Help Running Bear with a Wheelchair

This Gofundme page is for Larry.... Most of you know him as.... Running Bear. June 12th Running Bear checked himself into Tampa General Hospital for a standard procedure on his back. The operation was meant to remove the pain he experinced on a day to day basis, but due to this surgical procedure his spinal cord was severly damaged. This rendered him unable to preform basic tasks such as standing and walking and he is in desperate need of an Tilting Electric Wheelchair that will fit his needs.  I have already spoke with the doctors and found the chair he needs. It's not the most expensive nor is it the cheapest; it's the chair that best suits his complications. Running Bear has rods in his back which puts him in unbearable pain; it's excruciating even for him to sit up straight. To sit he must be in a titlted or reclined position to find any comfort. I do have Running Bear situated in a nursing home for his rehabilitation. Since he doesn't have a wheel chair of his own the home brings up what is available. Having to transfer to the chair, rehab tables and back to his bed in a chair not always the same causes even more pain to him. Running Bear himself has always been a strong man never backing away from anything, but honestly folks the pain brings tears to his eyes. Not being able to even sit in a chair for a long period of time has pretty much made him bed ridden; and bed ridden only adds risk of bed sores. To have a chair would not only help prevent issues but will also add back a quality of life he is missing. He needs this chair...he needs to be able to be mobile again...he needs your help!

Running Bear has not had the best year - his home caught fire in January in which he lost most of his personal belongings and now this. I am quite sure that almost everyone in the Amusement business knows The famous "Running Bear"... he has been around the business for many of years and was know for being one of the best music ride operator's in the buisness. For anyone who has lived the lifestyle  Running Bear has (as I have also) you know that your healthcare is the last thing we think about before it's to late. Unfortunatley Running Bear dosen't have the means to help himself after such devesatation. I am reaching out to all of you who have come to know and love Running Bear; if you could help to get him mobile again. This is to enable Running Bear to be able to continue to be at the club this winter in addition to getting around in life in general. Your efforts would be greatly appreciated.

Please do as much as you can...
take up a collection around the lot...
run a tip board in his name...
heck tack a ding on the rent slip for him if you must...
anything you can do would be a great help to him.
