Hi Folks, although Shea and I are no longer a couple, I get to still be friends with his mama, Rhonda and it's breaking my heart further to find out that Rhonda has been diagnosed with stage four urethra cancer. WHAT A FLIPPING DRAG. This is the 100000000th time Rhonda has had to fight cancer. Ok not that many times but this is the fifth time? She has already battled abcd cancers. Sister can't get a break with the cancer BS.

This lameness of cancer has drained her energy, making it impossible for her to return to work or care for her sweet dog Dolly (named after THE Dolly) Furthermore, she needs help with daily chores, grocery shopping, and getting to her medical appointments. As a result, the bills have started to pile up, including medical expenses, rent, utilities, pet care, and groceries.

Shea has been on call since April to provide care and support. Unfortunately, Shea lost his job due to the demands of Rhonda's care and Rhonda is on a limited income, relying on a low social security check each month.

HER MEDICAL BILLS HAVE ALREADY REACHED 10K - this is before chemo. And to add to the complete and total atrocity of all of this - doing Chemo is questionable for her medical team because Rhonda has a low blood count.

Your contribution will help cover current and past due medical bills, past due utility bills, upcoming treatments, ensure Rhonda can stay home and obviously provide some much-needed relief from the financial stress she is under. If we raise enough, she may be able to hire a caregiver other than Shea... (not looking for work here folks - I wouldn't charge to be Rhonda's caregiver - I'm talking in general.)
