I am opening the gofundme account for my brother Arnold Rush and his wife Wanda to help with Arnolds Medical cost and day to day living expenses.
January 24th 2015 Arnold had an seizure and was taken to the hospital to find out he had a tumor on his brain that had to be taken out immediately. Since that time Arnold has had Chemo and Radiation amongst other treatments. His last visit to the Oncologist, the MRI shows more tumors which needs to be treated. They are trying to get approval from the insurance company for a new treatment that will cost a $1000.00 a day. It has been a real tough journey that has had some bumpy roads.
Arnold was accepted in a program at MD Anderson Cancer Treatment Center in Houston Texas! It's a 2 day trip for Arnold and Wanda to travel and find a place to stay is really expensive. They travel every 8 weeks and have to rent a place not knowing if they will be staying for the whole visit. (The last visit they paid $3500.00 for a month stay and they were only there for 2 days. There were no refunds. It has been a real struggle both financially and emotionally on both Arnold and Wanda. Wanda works a full time job and is juggling on taking care of all the bills that are piling up and the cost of the medicine that Arnold needs and time loss from work to get him to all of his appointments and yet she is staying very strong and positive but she can't do it with just one income.
The goal is to help Arnold and Wanda to be able to pay bills and not have to stress on where the money is coming from and to take some stress off of Wanda who has a full time job and has to make every doctors appointments and fight with the insurance companies to get some help and being able to understand the doctors has emotionally stressed Wanda out! They need help and what ever you can offer would help in a tremendous way!
