On Tuesday afternoon my 8 year old son was walking home from school like he did every other week day. Unfortunately,  this particular day he was struck by a truck. The driver was not at fault as there is a bridge that goes over the street that my son should have used.  Nonetheless, he had to have surgery on his leg and we will be in the hospital for a little while before going home and the rest is unknown at this time. I am having to take some time off of work to take care of my baby and insurance isn't covering the entire surgery. Any help is welcomed. To be honest, it's even hard for me to ask, but I have to put my pride aside and take care of what's important.
