Dear Family and Friends, 

 Hi! My name is Jordan Ali, and I am fundraising for my mother, Joyce Ali’s, funeral and memorial services. 

 Joyce Mary Stranc was born on June 17, 1949, in Buffalo, NY to Leonard and Jane Stranc. After her father passed away, Jane married Joe, who was a wonderful stepfather and stepgrandfather. Joyce was their second daughter. 

Joyce grew up in Cheektowaga with her older sister Jackie and her younger sister Janice. Her cousins, Susan and Michael, lived five houses down the street. 

 My older brother Andrew and I gave Mom a run for her money when we were growing up! It is a good thing that she was the best hairdresser in Western NY because she was able to cover up all of the gray hairs we gave her! 

 My mom achieved her dream of opening her own salon with Park Avenue Hair Studio and made the town of Alden a more beautiful place with the thousands of the cuts, colors, and perms she performed over the years. Her mother Jane and Auntie Stell would come every Saturday morning to have their hair done. Auntie Stell was very particular about her hair, and she would say that nobody could do her hair the way Joyce did. 

 Mom’s greatest joy in life were her grandchildren: Samira, Natalaiya, AJ, Jordan (named after her favorite uncle!), and Sabriyah. We know that Mom is currently doting on Jordan and giving her the most adorable hairdos up in Heaven right now. 

 About ten years ago, we noticed that Mom started acting differently. Sadly, she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Mom lost her courageous battle with this terrible disease on July 13, 2022. 

 We are grateful for any donations towards Mom’s funeral and final expenses. She will be laid to rest next to her granddaughter, Jordan, at Coral Ridge Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
