Run for Andy

As you all know, we sadly lost Andy last year to cancer. Andy was my baby brother and I always referred to him as my little pet. Not a day goes by that we don’t miss him, his infectious laugh and his love of life.

With my dear friend, Nicky Doyle, we plan on running a half marathon (21.1km) on Saturday 26th June in memory of Andy and his amazing fight. Running has been a huge help this past year and we would love to honour a charity very close to our hearts in the lead up to the day.

Andy had a very close relationship with St Luke’s and chose them for fundraising activities on a number of occasions.

For this reason all funds raised will be donated to St Luke’s who generate the funds to ensure that the St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centres continue to be well-equipped, warm, friendly and comfortable facilities for patients undergoing treatment. The Friends of St. Luke’s is a vital source of support in the development of the St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network.
