The Nomadic Teahouse For Change

Donation protected

Now more than ever, the calling to be resilient, to live the solutions, to embody a way of living in right relationship with the land, with community, with kin and with self.

As a collective, we thrive from inspiring working models… the ways in which we can enact sustainable solutions in our everyday life.

The Nomadic Teahouse for Change has a vision to bring such solutions to the frontline, to spaces of gathering, where many can witness and take part in.

Our vision, put simply, is to build an off grid, nomadic education centre and teahouse.

We see this as a way to harmoniously merge conversations for change with fun and play, whilst raising funds for powerful projects and sharing clear examples of practical solutions.

Teahouse Rhythms, Cinematic Screenings, Live Jams, Theatrical Performances, Regenerative Living Presentations … all with one clear underlying message: We, as the people, have the power to change this story in a positive way.

My Story

Hi! My name is Charlie Tide, head visionary behind The Nomadic Teahouse For Change.

For those of you that don’t know me personally, I am first and foremast an avid lover of all things wild.

I am a mother, a student of the healing arts, and creative designer behind Wild Kin.

Wild Kin is an eco-social enterprise, sharing artisan wares with a message for the preservation of the wild spaces.

We currently donate a portion of our funds to Rainforest4Foundation, responsible for the preservation and regeneration of rainforests in both Australia and Indonesia.

It has always been a vision of mine to establish a teahouse with a strong environmental message, that will serve as both inspiring grassroots space and global working model for regenerative, off grid living.

In 2011, I was honoured to take part in NuMundo’s Earth Odyssey Tour, in which change makers from all over the Americas took to the road in 2 Biodiesel Buses to enact Regenerative Living Solutions.

During this time, I was able to experience the power and potency of working at a grassroots level with indigenous communities, intentional villages and festival culture. It touched me to my core, and to bring such a potential to my homelands of Australia feels a true honour.
