Tess's Recovery
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My sister Julie, her husband George and their two children have a beloved dog named Tess. Tragically on January 30, 2016 Tess was in a freak accident and suffered a lumbar injury leaving her with no use of her hind legs.
Tess is a 6 years old sweetheart who has been, and continues to be the glue of the family.
We pray that with Tess's innate ability to persevere, her vitality to thrive, our love and care, will help nurse her back to her vibrant, loving, healthy spirit.
This past week my family has taken this all in stride, as they have had to adjust to this new “normal.” In true Tess spirit, she is still her sweet loving self.
However, as you can imagine, this terrible accident is not only emotionally charged, it has a huge financial impact on my sister's family. Medical care is needed around the clock at this time. Unfortunately we still don't know the extent of her injuries. An MRI is still necessary, a wheelchair, along with additional testing, and a long term care plan will be required, once we can financially support these next steps.
We ask for your prayers and if possible any donation to assist us in getting her the medical care she needs.
We are eternally grateful she is still with us and want to help her stay comfortable and adjust to and our new realty.
If anyone leaves near my sister In Yorktown Heights who may have old towels/sheets/dog beds, diapers, bacitracin and or baby wipes to drop off that would be so wonderful also!
With love and gratitude,
Heidi
