Hello, my name is John Fink. I have the privilege of a wonderful friendship and working with a devoted and loyal associate, Charita Thomas-Wall. Charita is a single Mom who works extremely hard taking care of her 11-year old son Elijah, 24-year old daughter Ariel and 82-year old Grandmother, GG. Anyone that knows Charita knows of her faith in God, her dedication and love to her family and her loyalty to her job and co-workers. She is one of the most selfless and strongest women that I know. However, everyone has limitations.
Charita’s family has been struck with more than their share of illness. Elijah has severe allergies and GG is ill and has been taking chemotherapy for 6 years. Now this beautiful family has been hit with the overwhelming illness of Ariel suffering the failure of both her kidneys. Ariel is currently receiving dialysis until a matching kidney for transplant is found. Outside of her doctor appointments and dialysis, Ariel spends her days in bed, praying for a miracle. Ariel is a beautiful, smart and talented young lady who had been working hard and honestly pursuing her dreams. She is working on her Master’s Degree and had a boundless amount of energy, living a happy life that any 24-year old young lady should. This young lady still manages a radiant smile and truly appreciates anything done for her. This severe illness has stunned the family. Charita is out of work taking the best care of her family possible. Not only is Charita working around the clock taking care of her family, she is reaching out to multiple doctors, hospitals and any affiliates for any information and assistance that may help her daughter resume her normal and active lifestyle. Charita is blessed with wonderful family and friends. Ariel’s father, Milton Thomas, spends any time he can, outside of his work, to be there and support Ariel. It goes without saying, this is a true hardship like no other. This family needs more. They desperately need funds to assist with mounting medical bills and other everyday expenses.

Hello,
My name is Ariel Thomas. I am a sister, a friend, a daughter, a 24-year old, a dreamer, a graduate student, a giver, a lover, a mentor, a goofball, a babysitter, a website designer, a future therapist and now I have Stage 3 Renal Failure. June 11th, 2019, I had a random asthma attack that changed my life as I have known. That day, I was whisked to the hospital where I underwent many tests and procedures that gave me the unexpected and scary news. After 10 days in the hospital, I ended up with a fistula in my arm, a dialysis catheter in my chest and a new lifestyle change including going to 3 dialysis treatments/4-hour increments throughout the week. This has been a rough time, for not only me, but for my family and friends due to the unexpectedness and severity of this situation. On our journey to find a new kidney, your donations would help alleviate the weight that has been put on my family and me due to my diagnosis. I know God put us on this earth to not only support ourselves but also to help support others. We appreciate all donations, whether big or small.
