Hi! My name is Missy Kiser. I am raising funds for my daughter, Stephanie Girdley, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma two years ago. It started in her neck and by the time she was officially diagnosed, it was in her neck, chest, and below her ribs at the diaphragm.

After going through 6 cycles(12 treatments)of chemo last summer , we found out that our prayers of ten years had been answered; she was pregnant. Maybe not perfect timing, but God's timing is always perfect. She stopped all treatment so as not to harm the baby. While pregnant, the knots in her neck continued to grow, moving up the side of her face, into her ear, and beyond.

She gave birth to our precious baby boy in May and has started her fight again. She has done another 2 cycles of chemo close to home, but the next steps include her moving to Minnesota for treatment at the Mayo Clinic for a month and a half. She will be undergoing intense chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. She will be in and out of the hospital while there. Her father and I will be going up to help her husband Andrew with her and the kids while she’s there.

She has received tremendous support throughout the process from her church, family, and friends.

We continue praying and believing that this will be the final step in finally kicking this cancer once and for all! We are fundraising to support medical expenses and the costs associated with her treatment (travel, food, lodging, etc.) in Minnesota.
