After a lot of worrying, I’ve finally decided to start a gofundme to help me to get a new wheelchair.

I currently don’t have a wheelchair suitable for my needs, as it is too heavy for me to lift into my car myself and this has a really negative impact on my level of independence. It’s weight also means it’s really hard for me to self-propel, meaning I struggle to do daily tasks and socialise.

I do a lot of campaigning and advocacy and having a wheelchair that suits my needs would really help me to do more of this and to be more independent in my daily life.

I’d appreciate anything anybody felt able to give (even £1 would be fab) to help me to reach my target. Wheelchairs are crazy expensive and I’m so grateful to you if you even read this far!
