If you have been lucky enough to meet Todd, you know how kind, funny, generous, and compassionate he is to all. Todd is fortunate enough to be cherished and adored by many friends and family members who want to see him succeed in life. Todd is a loving father and husband to a young family. When Todd is not spending time with his family or friends, you could find him rooting on the San Francisco Giant’s or hiding out on his boat hunting. Shockingly, Todd has been diagnosed with cancer recently, specifically Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Due to this sudden change, Todd will now undergo approximately 8 months of chemo treatment and be unable to provide for his family.
The good news is that Hodgin’s Lymphoma is curable and the odds are in Todd’s favor to make a full recovery. However, while Todd will be receiving treatment, he will be unable to provide financially as he had before as their primary income source. Todd recently moved to his dream job a few months ago and now needs to take time off while he receives his cancer treatment. Vanessa, his wife, works part-time and will be able to cover their medical bills thankfully under her employer during his treatment. However, Todd will no longer be the primary income source of his family and they will struggle to provide the basic necessities of life for their children during his treatment. Vanessa is seeking opportunities to improve their projected financial situation while she cares for both Todd during treatment and her young family, which will be both taxing emotionally and physically.
Friends, coworkers, and family members have asked how they could support Todd and his family during this process. Setting up a Gofundme account is the best way to help Todd and his young family alleviate some of the stress they will be experiencing at this time. We are setting a Gofundme goal at $10,000 to help cover the basic living expenses while Todd receives his cancer treatment.
