Please Help Andy Get The Home Support He Needs For A Smooth Recovery!!

How about considering giving a gift that would absolutely change a mans life?

The man in the photo is my big brother Andy.
Andy has a very rare brain disease, shunt, tumour in his head among many other obstacles.

He has had a severe stroke and is bleeding in his brain too deeply for surgery.
He wouldn’t survive if worked on. Right now Andy’s medical team are working hard to try to help him regain use of his left side. He has shown almost immediate progress (despite all that he’s up against) and is speaking coherently. He has even moved his left arm 3 inches and moved his left foot a few times!

Andy has already lived a very challenging life and his loving nature, resilience and strength has been an inspiration to everyone he meets.

If Andy cannot walk when he is released from the hospital his home care workers, who are amazing but small women, and his mother will need a new wheel chair, among other items to make it easier to move his large frame.

Therefore, Andy needs a wheelchair so he can get out and about In the community to see the things that bring him joy. He will also need other means of assisting his recovery and motion in his home. Without such devises, his progress will be an even more difficult journey. This will either be rented or bought and go to another special needs person once he doesn’t need it any longer.

My brother has taught me many things in my life and one of the biggest is that you have to try, no matter what!!
So I’m reaching out for some help...
He’s beautiful, sweet, loving and childlike despite a lot of struggles and pain in his life. He brings joy to those who get to love him and he has left a lasting impact on anyone who has interacted with him during his difficult development.

After removing Andy from an abusive living situation about 9 years ago, his mom has needed extra support to keep him at home. So, although living with his mom is already very costly, it is the right choice for Andy.

We are all waiting daily to hear of any progress and we hope and pray for the recovery of this remarkable man. The hospitals are very full and busy so they would like to release him as soon as possible so getting him this chair is very time sensitive.

Andy is an amazing, strong man with a sweet jovial nature. He is usually happy and giggling and thoroughly enjoys his life.
I know there are generous humans out there with big hearts happy to contribute to the success of an amazing human!

Thank you to anyone who contributes to this very worthy cause!

Any help sent his way is greatly appreciated.

Love Andy and his Family
