Help Houlagans' Rest keep its rescue dogs safe

Winter Storm Izzy will bring weather that will challenge the dogs in our rescue Houlagans' Rest, which is located in normally temperate Virginia. We must evacuate older and vulnerable dogs in our care to a wonderful boarding partner, Acres of Fun, where they will be able to ride out the storm in the comfort and security of that facility.

Sending those dogs for 2 nights of boarding and working through severe weather events are significant costs to our humble rescue, even at the discounted rates that our partner provides (thank you!).
