Hi, I'm Jinx, I have severe mobility issues due to a myriad of health problems such as hEDS, arthritis, chronic pain and fatigue and very recently inflammation om the spine. Feel free to Google any of those conditions but it basically translates to my joints don't work properly, I am in AGONY 24/7 and I am exhausted all of the time. I have always been a very active and independent person and over the course of just 2 years I have lost a lot of my mobility and almost all my independence which is (obviously) a massive struggle for me not just physically but mentally. I struggle to do basic tasks in the home and I physically cannot walk/stand long enough to get to even a corner shop. I'm currently using a self propel wheelchair to get around however it is causing me severe pain to use on my own and its making my conditions worse (more physical exertion = more pain). Not to mention the mental toll it has taken too. I have to rely on other people to push me around which is not only inconvenient for them but also for me. I feel useless, I feel like a burden, I feel like everyone resents me. I NEED an electric wheelchair at this point. I hate asking for help but I am reaching out in the hopes that this could be funded privately as there is really not much support available to me currently. I would love to take the strain off my body and I can get my independence back. You have no idea how wonderful be able to just pop to the shops without having to wait days and days for someone to have a day off and help me and not be putting myself in more pain just to do a basic task.
