Hope for Pugsley

Hello, my name is kayla. This sweet baby's name is Pugsley and he is a 3-year-old Pug that came all the way from Little Rock, Arkansas.
Unfortunately, his owner went into hospice, and Pugsley was taken in by a nephew who kept him tied outside on a chain 24/7 in the sweltering heat. This brave boy tried so hard to get away but was hit by a car in the process, suffering Multiple Fractures located on his Femur, Forearm, and Pelvis. His new "owners" did not want to pay for any veterinary care and therefore surrendered him to @MidwestPugRescue. 

Without knowing the extent of his injuries or what the cost would be, we saved him. We saved him because he deserves it. He is only 3 years old and has so much life left to live. He is such a sweet boy.  
Pugsley received surgery to repair his fractures on 8/11 and 8/12 at the University of Illinois. Despite the fractures, he is otherwise
healthy and should be able to live a normal life after surgery. His current bill at University of Illinois is around $12,000.
