On July 22, I received devastating news: the lump on my sweet girl, Paislee, is cancer.
The only real option to save her life is a full leg amputation. Removing just the lump would leave cancer behind, and there’s a 99% chance it would return, fast and aggressively. The tumor’s placement makes it impossible to remove it entirely without amputation. The alternative would be to keep her comfortable and eventually say goodbye.
If you know me, you know Paislee isn’t just a dog, she’s my heart, my family, my anchor. She’s been by my side through every high and low. When I felt like I had nothing, I always had her. She stood on four legs next to me when I needed a hand, and I found her paw instead.
This is not just a medical decision, it’s a fight for her life.
The surgery is costly, and the recovery will be intense, but I am committed to doing everything in my power to keep her with me. I’m asking for help, whether it’s through donating, sharing this page, or sending prayers and love. Every little bit means the world.
Paislee has given me unconditional love, loyalty, and strength. Now I want to give her the chance to keep living the full, beautiful life she deserves.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support.
With love and gratitude,
Brittni & Paislee
