Our Father's resilience and fortitude has been amazing, but now we need help.
Our Fathers accident over 30 years ago changed our families life. But not our Dad - as a paraplegic he traveled extensively, skied, followed the Tall Ships and sailed, hiked, biked...we did it all. He is the toughest most resilient person we have met.
But recently, medical complications and cancer has made these adventures more challenging. Our Father needs your help. The list of complications is long - bladder cancer is spreading, pain uncontrollable, his concentration and memory is fading. Dad has rallied from unbelievable odds but this time he needs your assistance. Until last month Dad continued doing his consulting daily. But he needs more funds.
Dad needs to raise money to wind down his life. We especially need to hire more care givers and skilled nursing care not covered by insurance.
Dad also needs:
*skilled nursing and aides
*transfer bars
*hoyer lift to get from his bed to his chair
*a new washer and dryer as he does laundry daily
*daily hygiene and sanitizing
Etc.
