Running 100 miles in May for Danaher
Hello everyone!
I have set myself the challenge of running 100 miles over the month of May. I love running and I wanted to put all the running I’ve been doing to good use and raise donations to go to Danaher Animal Home. If i raise £1000 by the 1st may then the CEO of Danaher might be tempted to do 100 miles in may too.
Danaher has a very special place in my heart. I started volunteering there when I was 18, and now at age 24 I am one of the Team Leaders on a dog block. I see firsthand the work and dedication that goes into all the animals at the centre, from the little smallies and sweet cats all the way to the big loveable dogs by the hard work and time all the other team members put in. I would love to be able to give back and help raise more funds to helping all the animals at the home. The money raised will go such a long way in help continue to provide a safe place for the animals whilst they have their temporary stay with us as well as always finding new ways to improve their welfare.
For those that do not know much about Danaher, here is a little bit of information about the charity! The Danaher Animal Home is an independent charity which is affiliated to and works closely with the RSPCA but is Entirely Self Funded. The Home takes in unwanted animals (principally dogs, cats and small domestic animals) from Inspectors and RSPCA branches and animal homes in London where demand always exceeds capacity.
Thank you everyone for having a read and taking the time to donate, I am very grateful and I know all the team at Danaher will be too!
