My name is Christen Greene and I am a International Baccalaurette Student in the 11th Grade at Douglas County High School. I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Berlin Germany, Pargue Czech Republic, Krakow Poland and Budapest Hungary to enhance my study on the Cold War.
I am very excited to study history where it took place and I am thankful for any and all support. This will be my first trip abroad and I am looking forward to experiencing different cultures and tradition. As we study more next year about the Cold War, this will bring my studies to life as I reflect on my personal experience there.
My trip is mid June 2016 and we will be away for 9 days. I am raising funds by May 31 to cover the cost of the trip. I am one of the 40 students that have this wonderful opportunity.
