Update: February 28, 2022
It is with great sadness, that I update this campaign. Aleksandra passed away on the evening of February 19th, 2022 after her courageous 6 month fight with cancer. She was loved by many and although she is not physically here, she is with each and every one of us in spirit. She is at peace now. My intention from here is to raise money for her teenaged son Vicco, who she adored. These funds will contribute to his future well being in the realm of his education and health. Hi, my name is Lucy McKee and I represent the friends and family of Aleksandra Eifler. She has been a dear friend of mine since 2015 and a long-time beloved member of our community as a yoga teacher, life coach, and all around genuine soul. Aleks was diagnosed in September 2021 with cancer in her liver and spine.

Aleks currently needs a biopsy to begin treatment, and she is not able to afford it. Within the care of her oncologist, she plans to lay out a proper plan, which is focused on radiation therapy. She is challenged with walking, and when she does she utilizes a walker. This has made it difficult for her to complete needed tasks such as making meals for herself and getting to doctor's appointments. Aleks is also not able to drive at this time.

 

Our current intention is to move further forward with her treatment as quickly as possible and to begin in-home care to assist her through the week. Her personal, and medical bills are accumulating quickly. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to put towards uninsured expenses and to help keep her on the road to recovery.

 

Those closest to Aleks are caring for her as much as time is allowing. I want to allow our community to be a part of bringing her vitality back. She has given such incredible wisdom and value to those around her and I want her to receive love and care at a time when she needs it.
