Help My Brother Heal After a Tragic Accident

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother — not just as his eldest sister, but as someone who has witnessed firsthand the love, light, and strength he brings into the world.

My brother is a kind, loving soul who lives and breathes family. He’s the third eldest of 12 siblings, a true protector and role model for us all. A proud Philadelphian and die-hard Eagles fan, he’s always been passionate about our city, its people, and its spirit. Whether he’s hiking outdoors, making music, playing sports, or volunteering to help in our community, he brings joy and energy wherever he goes.

He is also proudly serving in the Army Reserve, and was scheduled to deploy for active duty later this year. Sadly, on Saturday, October 4th — his 25th birthday — our lives changed forever. He suffered a tragic accident, falling from the Schuylkill River bridge. He was found unconscious and barely holding on. Thanks to the heroic efforts of EMS, he made it to the ICU — and miraculously, he survived a fall that most never would.

But his road ahead is long and challenging.

He’s currently in critical condition, suffering from multiple broken bones, severe fractures, and spinal injuries. Over the next year and beyond, he will face multiple surgeries, extensive hospital stays, and long-term rehabilitation. Unfortunately, his military health insurance will not cover the full scope of the care he urgently needs due to him not being active duty.

My brother has always lived life with an open heart. He’s the type to stop and help anyone in need, to donate without question, and to light up a room with his smile. He had dreams of traveling the world, spreading positivity, and making memories — and while this accident has delayed that path, we refuse to let it end his journey.
