Support for Lindsay
In May, Lindsay was diagnosed with a spinal tumour. She underwent surgery a few weeks later to remove as much of the tumour as possible and they are still working toward a diagnosis and treatment plan. Lindsay is dealing with decreased mobility post-surgery, and is currently receiving in-patient care at the Miller Centre. If you've met Lindsay, it will come as no surprise that she is working hard and taking it all in stride!
An incredible teacher, dedicated skating coach, supportive teammate, and amazing friend - Lindsay brings joy everywhere she goes. She is a bright shiny star who radiates positivity. She gives so much of herself to those around her, and right now she needs our support!
Lindsay and her husband, Dave, are modifying their home to fit Lindsay's current mobility needs. They'll need things like a wheel chair, ramps, lifts, mobility aids and other medical equipment and supplies while Lindsay continues her rehabilitation and future treatments. If you can, please consider donating to help offset some of these costs.
Let's show Lindsay and Dave the same kindness they've given time and time again. We're rooting for them every step of the way!
