Apartment Fire Recovery Fund for Sheila & Sumiyah

Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am fundraising on behalf of my friend and coworker, Sheila McKnight and her daughter Sumiyah. Sheila is a well-loved Supervisor at Revlon in Oxford, NC and Sumiyah is an Honor Roll student who just turned 14.

Tragically, they lost their apartment and belongings in a fire on Tuesday, 3/7. Thankfully, Sheila and Sumiyah were not present, but their dog, Mr. Willow passed away. While Sheila is currently figuring out the details, they have lost clothes, furniture, kitchen supplies, and other essentials in the fire and have been displaced.

Sheila is truly one of the most hardworking, caring, and sweet people I know and my heart aches for her. She is ultimately trying to keep things as normal as possible for Sumiyah during this horrible tragedy. Please consider donating if you can or share this page. Anything helps.
