Hello!

So this has been started to try and raise some funds over the next few days to be able to heat the homes of those vulnerable in our community for Christmas Day.

With the increasing cost of living and freezing temperatures throughout the country there are so many around us unable to keep on top of their bills and keep warm this Christmas.

After being inspired by an old friend the idea is to raise money to be able to top up the electric/gas key cards of those struggling/vulnerable in the Leith area and keep everyone a little more cosy this Christmas.

Donations can be as little as 50p/£1/£5 (however much you can give) then the final funds will be split and given to those most in need within the community.

I’m based in Leith so will be looking to do this around Leith/Easter Road area, topping up the key cards at Paypoints for those that need them. I’ll also be reaching out to community centres/charities nearby to help make contact and give to the families that need it most.
