Update, AZ doctors had miss diagnosed Denny, the doctors at UPMC biopsied his cancer from the origin and it came back as HP-16 Type A. This is a very rear cancer that is aggressive. They can not operate but it is treatable, they will treat it with intense radiation five days a week and chemo once to twice a week for 33 - 35 treatments. The doctors have said he will be going to hell and back with this treatment and that 50% of the people end up in the hospital with dehydration and with a feeding tube. This treatment will burn the inside of his head, throat, neck, base of his scull, nasal cavity and make it hard for him to swallow. He starts treatment on may 13th. Please say a pray. Hi my name is Tina, my husband Denny Lugaila, was diagnosed with stage 4 Squamous cell carcinoma on 4-12-19, this cancer is very aggressive and he is being treated at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh PA by Dr. Robert Ferris. UPMC is a world renown Cancer Center and Dr. Ferris specializes in Denny's type of cancer. Denny will be going through intense radiation and chemo therapy and hopefully will qualify for some new clinical trials. The doctors have told us they can not operate as the cancer is in a very delicate and vital area in the base of his skull, top of his spine and his lymphoid. Operating is not an option. Denny and I were just married on December 1st 2018 and moved into our home December 21st 2018 that we had been building for a year. Denny was diagnosed with Cancer just four months into our new lives together as husband and wife and living in our dream home. We received additional bad news 2 days before Denny was diagnosed with cancer, I was laid off from my job of 15 years. Denny and I have put our new home in Peoria AZ up for sale and have moved in with family in McDonald PA. We are asking for your love, prays and your help as this is going to be a long hard road ahead to his recovery. Your donation will help with medical bills, treatment and medications.
