Bake To Build

Hi friends! I am really needing your help and generosity this season. My daughter has a service campaign called "Bake to Build" to raise funds to build an entire house for a family of 5 or 6 in Mexico. This service campaign is a result of her mission trip with Casa Building in 2015 when she was in 5th grade. Amelie's vision:
"Every child should have a home to grow up in. It is my dream that all children should be provided with a stable environment from which to plant the foundation of their future on. Now, this is a tall order. It is hard to change the big big world by yourself. After all, you are just one tiny person in a sea of billions of people. But I believe we have to start somewhere. If we each do our part, even if it’s small, together we can move the world towards a better place. That is why I have created Bake to Build and why together we can change the world one home at a time."
So far Amelie has a team of 10 bakers to raise funds. Together, they hope to raise 15k to build a 400 square feet, 2 bedrooms concrete house. This service project is in collaboration with Casa Building. All proceeds will be transferred to Casa Building (Christus Ministries) to arrange for the construction of the house.
This season, I would like to ask if you can donate to this service campaign. If you are in Houston, Amelie and I will deliver a dozen baked or frozen gourmet cookies to your doorsteps.
In addition, please reach out to me if you would like to accompany us on Labor Day 2022 to assist in building this house.
