Jacquie (Francia Jacqueline) lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. She moved to Canada from Venezuela in 2002 with her husband and three young children. She has always loved to dance, swim and enjoys the outdoors.
She first had signs of Multiple Sclerosis in 2008, and over the past six years has increasingly struggled with her mobility and fatigue. Now she is dependent on assistance. Despite trying all available treatments in Canada, her condition continues to worsen.
After a lot of research, and prayer she has found a clinic in Germany, the ANOVA Institute for Regenerative Medicine (https://anova-irm.com/en/anova-irm-stem-cell-center/overview-anova-irm-stem-cell-center), that treats MS by implementing the most advanced and innovative stem-cell based technology to date that has harnessed the essence of stem cells in high concentrations to provide a personalized, safe and novel treatment. The treatment is two years long and would require 10 trips to Germany. The anticipated cost is $150,000. They hope to start treatment in November, 2025.
As of now, Jacquie and her husband, Ray, do not have the means to take advantage of this potentially life-changing treatment. Friends and family are doing what they can to help them.
We are asking for donations large or small to try to help Jacquie dance again.
Thank you so much for your financial assistance!
From her son Davy Chelini:
"If you've ever had the chance to meet Jacquie, my amazing mom, you'll know she's an absolute delight. She's the perfect mix of 'spicy Latina' and incredibly kind, compassionate mother. Throughout her life, Jacquie has always used everything she does – whether leading generations of dancers, teaching, or swimming – as a way to love and connect with people. These activities are more than just hobbies for her; they're tools for fostering relationships, growing her community, and giving back. It's truly hard not to love this amazing person!"https://youtu.be/uaPZ1VMt25g
