Blakely Strong- Fighting ALL Leukemia Together!
Donation protected

On Tuesday morning, she had a bone marrow biopsy. Our sweet Blakely Rose was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on Tuesday, 4/20/2021. With further tests, we learned that it is SR B-type ALL.
On Thursday, she had her port placed, received a chemo spinal injection and her first dose of IV chemo. She did really well with both and has been such a trooper She also had a spinal tap to determine if the leukemia cells were present in her spine and brain and we are giving all the glory to God that this was negative!
She will received another dose of chemo on Sunday. She has received a few transfusions since we've been here and has done so like a champ. They will continue to monitor all of her levels frequently to be sure that the chemo is starting to work and to determine if she needs further transfusions.
Treatment will be a 2 year course of many different medications but her team of doctors have very high hopes that she will respond very well to the treatment plan they have set up for her Most of her IV and spinal chemo sessions will be done outpatient with a few short inpatient admissions throughout this whole process.
Blakely's oncology doctor said she is already responding to the chemo as her white blood cells and blast cells are trending downward. To hear this after less than 24 hours of her first dose of chemo is beyond amazing!
Ashley and Brock ask that you continue to pray for their sweet girl, as she transitions into this new world of many appointments and treatments. They also ask that you pray for Everly as she gets used to the changes that certainly will be affecting her as well. Our Yay Yay is so strong and we all know that God will help her through this and she will be stronger than ever!
Brock and Ashley have set up a Facebook page so everyone can follow Blakely's progress and get updates quickly. The link to request to join the page is:

Because the road to Blakely's health will be a long one (with a two year projected treatment plan), and costly one (trips to the hospital, missing work, daycare expenses for Everly, and the list goes on), Brock and Ashley's close friends are asking all who are willing to contribute to this GoFundMe to do so, in any amount possible. A little contribution made by many would go a very long way. On behalf of Brock and Ashley, we thank you so much for your prayers, kindness, concern and generosity towards out little warrior.
