Have you ever put off getting healthcare that you desperately needed because you were concerned about the copay? What about this story...

One of my dearest friends, Sheri Hart, has osteogenesis imperfecta - the severe kind. She's had multiple health problems in the last year, including life-threatening consequences and surgery, but was able to come through that. Now, my sweet friend is at the hospital because she, like many others, cannot afford to pay for their insurance. Actually, that's not even true; she was canceled from her insurance and, in the meanwhile, has now suffered multiple kidney cysts and a cyst on her ovaries. One of which burst, and now she's septic.

If you've not heard of this disease, it's the disease that most of us typically call Brittle Bone. Sheri has suffered all throughout her years but has always kept a GREAT attitude and good heart through it all.

So now we find ourselves today with her at the hospital with most likely another week or two more of needing help with NO WAY to pay for it. I'm a nurse and find this very frustrating. So, I am asking for help... not for something frivolous, or something fun to do, or even a nice trip to a tropical destination. Instead, I'm asking for a friend that NEEDS help to pay her medical bills so that she can continue to stay at the hospital and continue to receive the help she needs. This is a person that loves Jesus and is passionate about others. If you know anything about Sheri, she always meets you with a smile regardless of what's going on in her body. Just her supplies alone are hundreds a month. You can see her art and love for life through her paintings and artwork throughout Fort Smith, Arkansas. So...
